| (1)This is a view of our 20 foot hoop house. The tomatos are up on saw horses and the south side of the hoop house is rolled up around a 2x4 to let the sun in. |
(2)The hoop house viewed from the north side. |
| (3)At the bottom of the north side of the house, the plastic is rolled around a 2x4 and held tight with lath screwed onto the 2x4. The 2x4 is nailed onto the 4x4 base. The north side does not open. |
(4)Another view of the north side. |
| (5)The top of the hoop house includes a 1x4 with holes for the 3/4 in PVC pipe. I screw lath through the plastic to the top edge of the 1x4. This is just to minimize movement of the plastic in the wind and to kind of hold the 1x4 in place. |
(6)This view from the south side shows the 4x4 base. |

| (7)Another view of the 4x4 base on the south side, from inside. |
(8)Here is a view showing how the PVC pipe is held in place with the little horse shoe shapped pipe clamps. The PVC pipe is inserted over a 2 ft chunk of rebar with half of it in the ground. |

| (9)Another view of a pipe clamp on the north side. |
(10)Yet another view of a pipe clamp on the north side. Notice that you can see the 2x4 that holds down the plastic to the 4x4. |

| (11)This is a view from the east side. |
(12)A view from the south east side. Notice the duct tape on the PVC pipe. |
| (13)The duct tape is used to secure a rope that extends diagonaly from the 4x4 base. If you look closely, you can see two diagonal ropes and two PVC pipes with duct tape. The idea is to provide some stability for the hoop house frame during strong winds out of the west. |
(14)Here is a view from the north east side showing the little clips used to secure the plastic to the PVC pipes. This view also provides another look at how the plastic is secured to the 2x4 and to the 4x4 base. |

(16)A couple clips and a better view of how the plastic is secured to the base. |

| (17)Here is a quick shot of our 12 ft hoop house. |
(18)Another view of the 20 ft hoop house from the east side. |

| (19)Another view of the 20 ft hoop house and all the other stuff. In the background is our actual green house. |
(20)(No picture.) Notice that the ends of the hoop house have been removed. All we do is attach plastic to the ends with the little plastic clips. We simply undo the clips when we need to enter. It is possible to install little doors, etc. |
