Use: These plants grow splendidly on stream banks and near ponds. They are a little too invasive for a formal garden, but could be used in wider parts of larger, more informal gardens and borders. Yellow loosestrife produces good cut flowers.
Culture: Yellow loosestrife is a sturdy and dependable plant which require little care. They prefer moist situations and fairly rich soil with high organic matter. The plants will tolerate drier soil in partial shade. The plants can be invasive unless restrained.
