Use:
These attractive, spear-shaped plants are known as the obedient plants because when cut they can easily be twisted or turned most any direction for graceful arrangements. They work well grouped in the middle or rear of the border or in naturalized settings where their stiff form can be softened. They're good plants for wet, problem soils.


Culture:
These perennials require little attention. They will spread rapidly in good soil with plenty of moisture and probably will need to be divided and replanted every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
