Use:
Lamb's ear is a low, tufted plant grown for its wooly, silvery white foliage. It makes an eye-catching accent, particularly on moonlit nights. It works well as an edging for the perennial border or along a path in order to make it easier to see at night. Lamb's ears look crisp and clean all season and make a superb companion under roses. Foliage can be used in fresh or dried floral arrangements. The cut stems are weak until swelled with water.

Culture:
The plant is long-lived, but is usually neat and restrained in its growth. In wet soil the plant may suffer root and crown rot. Divide the plant to rejuvenate it after 4 or 5 years.
