Use:
German statice can be used in the rock garden, as an edging plant or near the front of the perennial border. The plant produces a rosette of leathery leaves at the base of theplant and sends up panicles of tubular flowers in mid summer. The flowers have a papery texture and can be dried. German Statice can also be used in containers.


Culture:
German Statice is easy to grow and drought tolerant once established. The plants will not tolerate wet winter soil.
