Use:
'Butterfly Blue' pincushion flower is an excellent plant for the front of the border. it forms a neat mound of decoractive foliage with soft blue flowers. The plant has a delicate look, but is very sturdy and does not require staking. it holds up well in summer heat and is pest and disease resistant.


Culture:
The pincushion flower requires moist soil during the growing season. The crown should be planted at the depth is is growing in the pot to prevent crown rot. The basal foliage should not be cut back in the fall. Remove witner damaged foliage in the spring.
