Culture:
Basket-of-gold is a tough little plant with showy masses of lettle yellow flowers that exudes a heavy, honey-like scent. it tolerates poor, dry soil and will thrive under most conditions. it is a fast growing, low maintenance, and long-lived perennial. Cut back the plant with a hedge trimmers to about half after flowering and ferilize lightly. Basket-of-gold hardly needs any fertilizer and if it gets too much, its growth becomes leggy. The plants develop long taproots and cannot be easily transplanted once established. The plant is self-seeding.
