Use:
The cornflowers blue blossoms make superb cut flowers. They make fresh and long-lasting boutonnieres, hence their common name, bachelor's buttons.

Culture:
Bachelor's buttons are very easy to grow. Deadheading the old blooms will keep the plants flowering all season. Removing the spent blooms will also prevent hundreds of volunteer seedlings from eventually overtaking the flower garden.
